Supplies:

Decorating Tips: #3, #5, #10, #16 and #32

Piping Bags

Toothpick or Butterknife

Directions:

  1. Divide the buttercream frosting into 4 small bowls and mix the rood food coloring in one bowl, the orange in another and the brown in the third. Keep the fourth bowl of frosting white.
  2. For the "pumpkin pie" bites, frost the top of five Pound Cake Mini Cake Bites with orange frosting.
  3. Using the #16 piping tip and the brown frosting, pipe a scallop edge around the mini cake for the crust.
  4. Next, use the #32 piping tip and the white frosting, pipe a small star of white buttercream in the middle of the cake bite.
  5. Sprinkle with a dash of the pumpkin pie spice.
  6. For the "cherry pie" bites, frost the top of five Pound Cake Mini Cake Bites with red frosting. For a cherry taste, add a very small amount to the red frosting first, and then frost the top of the cake bites.
  7. Sprinkle a few of the red sugar pearls on top.
  8. Next, use the #3 piping tip with brown frosting, and pipe a grid line pattern across the top of the cake bites.
  9. Next, use the #16 piping tip and brown frosting, pipe a scallop edge around the cake bite for the crust.
  10. For the "apple pie" bites, finely chop the apple pie filling and place a dollop on top of the five remaining cake bites.
  11. Using the #5 piping tip and brown frosting, pipe a grid line pattern on top of the cake bites.
  12. Next, use the #10 piping tip and brown frosting, pipe an edge around the cake bite for the crust.
  13. Then take a toothpick or butterknife and make small lines around the crust to make it look like crimped edges of the pie.
  14. Lastly, using the #5 piping tip and white frosting, add a dollop of the buttercream frosting to the middle.
