Ingredients:
1 Carton
Drake's® Cakes Coffee Cake Mini Cake Bites

1/2 Cup Salted Sweet Cream Butter, room temperature

1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon Milk

1 Tablespoon Prepared Spice Hot Apple Cider, room temperature

2 1/4 Cups Powdered Sugar

1 Drop Electric Neon Green Gel Food Coloring

1 Cup Prepared Caramel Dip

1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Nuts


Supplies:

Wooden Stir Sticks or Popsicle Sticks
Parchment Paper-Lined Tray

Directions:

  1. With a hand mixer, whip the butter, vanilla, milk and prepared apple cider for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. Slowly add in the powdered sugar while mixing. Mix for about 1 minute while adding in the milk.
  3. Fold in the green food coloring
  4. Place buttercream frosting in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight to set.
  5. Scoop the frosting with a small cookie scoop and place on top of the mini cakes.
  6. Sprinkle the green sanding sugar on top
  7. Using a small knife or a piping bag, pipe the caramel dip around the bottom of the frosting scoop.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on the piped caramel.
  9. Cut the wooden sticks to the desired size
  10. Place the wooden stick in the center of the frosting scoop.
